Sway got his start as a rapper as a teenager where he often performed. He went on to host a radio show called "The Wake Up Show" featuring the music and interviews of well-known hip-hop artists. In 2000, Sway joined MTV where he became even more popular. Although he didn't renew his contract, he maintained a working relationship with MTV. In 2011, "Sway in the Morning" was launched on SiriusXM. Since then, he has appeared in films such as "Battle of the Year 3D" (2013) and "Top Five" (2014).
